1st Battalion, 24th Infantry Regiment - 1st Battalion, 24th Infantry Regiment 'Deuce Four' was one of the first Buffalo Soldier regiments in the United States Army along with the 9th and 10th Cavalry Regiments. They were involved in the Spanish-American War and were involved in Teddy Roosevelt's Rough Riders famous charge up San Juan Hill.
